The mission of the Tennessee Antiquarian Booksellers’ Association is to maintain and foster interest in book collecting by facilitating regular communication and cooperation among experienced and reputable Tennessee sellers of fine and antiquarian books, maps, and manuscripts.
  • engender public awareness of the value of printed books and epherma as vital records of civilization; as tangible links to great minds of the past and present: and as works of art
  • promulgate ethical practices and professional conduct in the membership
  • organize and conduct an annual Tennessee Book and Paper Show
  • sponsor and provide continuing education about the various facets of book collecting for booksellers, collectors, and the public
  • collect funds to be used for the general purposes of the Association

Membership in TENNABA is predicated upon significant experience in selling fine and antiquarian books; the sponsorship of a current member; and approval by the board.
